Birdwords the Exhibition
‘Ephemeral, floating work, as light as a feather that focuses on the issues of Climate change in a thought provoking way.’
Starting with recordings from across the globe of the dawn chorus during lockdown, experimentation into writing birdsong as a language, asking the question ‘what could the birds be trying to tell us?’
‘Birdwords’ the exhibition was held at Level Best Gallery in Colchester City Centre in June 2024, it asked us to consider our involvement with the natural environment, how much this intervention affects our feathered friends.
