Jeff the Whale 2018-ongoing

An eight foot long humpback whale created from recycled fabric from the fast fashion industry and filled with plastic waste. Jeff went everywhere with Jane for about 6 weeks, meeting people and making friends. After this he was hung on a cross in a performance piece, he was then disembowelled for the film he died for our sins (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUrd5ipsLJs&t=11s).

He has appeared in many locations and exhibitions and accompanies Jane on a lot of community engagement activities. He has his own facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/jeffthehumpback) and is on permanent display at the Jaywick Martello Tower.
